We brought Trixie in from the pasture 2 weeks ago to see how shes doing.

She had a limp when on hard ground going at a trot. In the arena it cant be noticed. Vet said it was a pulled hamstring and gave meds for it. Seemed to clear it up for a few days but limp is returning. Will be taking post down if cant get it cleared up.

If you are still interested in seeing if the limp clears up and are interested in Trixie please message me directly and I will keep you updated. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Trixie is a 12 year old red roan mare. She has been with the same owner since she was weaned and has a very sweet personality. She was used mostly as a kids adventure horse and then as kids got older as a ranch/rope horse. She is not papered and not sure exactly what breed she is. She does have quarter horse in her thought.

The reason we are selling is because the kids have moved away from home and she is not used as much anymore.

Our kids rode her growing up and she always did great for them.

She has been roped off at brandings and does well.

This last summer she did have a little bit of a limp but after getting her feet trimmed she seems good again.

She is definitely not a top dollar fancy horse but she is a calm, reliable, steady horse that gets along with people and gets the job done.

She may be priced a bit high but she has been a very good horse for us and we want her to go to a good home where she will be used. If you are seriously interested in her communicate with me and we will work something out that works for everyone.
