Search & Rescue | Disaster Response - Remote Pilot
Role Description:
Practice and perform search and rescue, disaster response, and/or homeland security. Missions include visual & electronic search and rescue, aerial photography or other imagining, and/or homeland security. All volunteers provided training in desired mission sets, monthly proficiency flights based on qualifications, and funding for instruction based on student needs. Missions include: search-and-rescue for crashed/missing aircraft, vehicles or persons; airborne photography during flood response, excessive snow, wildfires, etc.; transport of critical/lifesaving supplies and equipment. Accelerated promotion based on certificate.
Qualifications:
FAA remote pilot certificate
Good communication skills
