Purebred Male Shih Tzu

This is Oliver. Oliver is a one year old intact male Shih Tzu. Oliver was in a previous home where the owners were unkind. He is a bit skeptical of males and some (not all) dogs. With this Oliver takes a little longer to warm up to men but this does not mean that he wont. Once he knows he is safe he will love you to the ends of the earth.

Oliver is sweet, cuddly and loves attention. He will lay with you as long as you want. Oliver is house trained and kennel trained. Recall off leash isnt the best but he does listen to basic commands. Oliver will come with all his belongings such as toys, harness, leash, food, dishes and portable kennel.

The reason we are rehoming is no fault to Oliver at all. Oliver is not aggressive but at times he does bark or growl at my three year old male Shih Tzu. I am aware having two intact males can cause them to feel like they have to assert dominance and I feel like thats the reason they are not getting along like I would have hoped. I want Oliver to be in a home where he feels safe and secure where he does not have to feel in competition with another dog. With the dogs not clicking like I had hoped I dont feel like Oliver will get the secure and comfortable part which he should in his home. The previous owner was not upfront and honest with us and I dont mean to scare anyone away from loving Oliver I just want to make sure Olivers new home is his forever home and they know all that I do.

Our main goes is for Oliver to find someone who will be serious and willing to love him. We ask that if you are planning to breed him that you be upfront about that also.
