Here is a very nice uniform cap from the Northern Pacific Railway made by Carlson & Company Uniform Tailors, 9 So. Clinton Street, Chicago, Ill. This cap is in very good lightly used condition. It shows only the slightest amount of wear with no staining, soiling, excess fading, rips or holes and is still firm and in proper form. Even the sweat band and the bill are in very good shape with no stains or damage. The cap is marked on the inside with the maker's name and information as shown in the photo. Nowhere on this cap is it marked for the Northern Pacific Ry. but there is a tag on the inside from the previous owner stating that it was from the NP, so I am only assuming that it is correct. The badge on the front and the side buttons are rather generic and are not marked for any particular RR, but this cap came with other material from the NPRY, so it seems reasonable that it was probably used on the NP. Please check the photos carefully and ask any questions before buying.
