With a compact, counterbalanced, DOHC cylinder head, a 11.3:1 compression ratio and dry-sump lubrication, the YXZ1000R SS XT-R engine offers exceptional power, a thrilling 10,500 rpm redline and high-strength internals ready to handle high-output demands.

COMFORT

• Ergonomics Built for Performance

The YXZ1000R SS XT-R cockpit provides a balance of comfort and control with both the drivers seat and steering wheel adjustability to ensure the perfect fit. The cab features plush, high-back seats with extra lateral support and outside shoulder bolsters. Shaped floorboards supply generous legroom while still giving a planted feel.

• Composite Suntop

A strong but lightweight composite suntop keeps the cabin running cool and perfectly matches the rakish lines of the YXZ body. The roof features proper clearance for riders in their helmets, eliminating the cramped feel found in many competitors machines. A wide-angle rearview mirror is also tucked under the roof for enhanced rearward visibility.

The YXZ1000R SS XT-R features instruments inspired by Yamahas high-performance supersport motorcycles.
