Nice, well equipped compact SUV in good running and driving condition. This has the reliable 3.0L Duratec V6 engine, automatic transmission, full time 4wd, and 168k miles. This was a new car store trade in vehicle that seems to be in very good condition all the way around. Its not perfect, but it starts right up and runs smooth with no warning lights or major mechanical issues to note. Shifts as it should, 4wd works well, all season tires have very good tread all the way around, ride is comfortable, brakes are quiet and work as they should. Has some typical rust spots starting at the rear fenderwell which is common on these, but otherwise the body is straight and the steel blue paint looks nice. This does have a block heater installed as well as a 1 receiver hitch and factory roof rack. Inside its loaded for the day with power heated leather seating thats in great shape and give room for 5. Power windows, locks, mirrors, and sunroof. Automatic climate control works well, and factory stereo has aux input as well. Trim and upholstery look nice. Weve sold many of these 2nd generation escapes and they have proven to be comfortable, reliable, affordable little vehicles that get around well. $4950 takes this one home.
