Six Pounds Sterling sired many outstanding ranch and rope horses in the Texas Panhandle and New Mexico. Most of the time if your in that area and see a nice gray horse he generally goes back to Six Pounds Sterling. His sire was the 6666s Ranch Sire , Strait Silver. Strait Silver was an outstanding sire at the 6666s Ranch and his daughters have been outstanding broodmares. He has a high concentration of King P234 in his pedigree and also goes back to Oklahoma Star and Joe Hancock. Strait Silver was sold to Jason Abrahan for over $30,000 in a Sixes Production Sale, which was a lot of money back then.

Full sister to Strait Tiki is doing very well in the barrel arena.

Chex is a very exceptional young fella. He is very athletic, straight and correct, has the best mind for a young colt and personality, very easy going and trainable.

He leads, loads, ties, bathes, clips, stands for the farrier, is the first one to greet you at the gate. He should mature to about 14.2 to 15h. Chex has also been shown in a weanling halter class with very limited preparation and acted like he has done it before and even pulled a check!
