This was an inside mount, all mounting hardware included. Top Valence included. The top 2-3 wood slats are warped some with time as seen in photo with shade open. However, was using up till a couple weeks ago. I thought about sliding those top ones out and switching with the bottom but went with a different shade. Everything works as it should for opening/closing. One can raise it carefully with hand under the bottom board as it is a heavier shade but may do best to raise sparingly to save life on the strings. This is made by Bali but warranty is no longer available. This is faux wood. Clean, Non-smoking home.
